Pendahuluan
Dalam sistem ekonomi konvensional, harga pasar terbentuk melalui interaksi antara permintaan dan penawaran. Namun, dalam ekonomi Islam, harga tidak hanya dipandang sebagai hasil dari mekanisme pasar, tetapi juga harus mencerminkan nilai moral, keadilan, dan keberkahan.
Islam menolak konsep pasar bebas tanpa batas yang dapat menimbulkan eksploitasi dan ketidakadilan ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, teori harga dalam perspektif Islam menempatkan etika dan keadilan sosial sebagai bagian penting dari sistem pasar.
Konsep Dasar Harga dalam Islam
Dalam pandangan Islam, harga disebut dengan istilah tsaman, yang berarti nilai tukar suatu barang atau jasa. Harga yang terbentuk harus sesuai dengan ridha kedua belah pihak (penjual dan pembeli), tanpa ada unsur gharar (ketidakjelasan), riba (bunga), atau ikhtikar (penimbunan barang).
Landasan Syariah
- Al-Qur’an Surah Al-Muthaffifin ayat 1–3:
“Kecelakaan besarlah bagi orang-orang yang curang (dalam takaran dan timbangan)…”
Ayat ini menegaskan pentingnya kejujuran dan keadilan dalam transaksi ekonomi.
- Hadis Riwayat Abu Dawud:
Ketika sahabat meminta Rasulullah ﷺ menetapkan harga, beliau menjawab:
“Sesungguhnya Allah-lah yang menentukan harga, yang menahan, melapangkan, dan memberi rezeki…”
(HR. Abu Dawud dan Tirmidzi)
Hadis ini menunjukkan bahwa harga pasar dibiarkan terbentuk secara alami, namun pengawasan moral tetap diperlukan.
Mekanisme Pasar dalam Ekonomi Islam
Dalam sistem Islam, mekanisme pasar diperbolehkan selama berjalan dengan adil dan bebas dari manipulasi. Permintaan dan penawaran tetap menjadi penentu utama, tetapi ada batasan etika yang harus dijaga.
1. Kebebasan Ekonomi dengan Tanggung Jawab Moral
Islam memberikan kebebasan kepada individu untuk berdagang, namun kebebasan tersebut harus didasarkan pada prinsip halal dan keadilan.
Tidak boleh ada penipuan (tadlis), monopoli, atau penimbunan barang (ikhtikar).
2. Larangan Praktik yang Merusak Pasar
- Ikhtikar (penimbunan): dilarang karena menimbulkan kelangkaan dan kenaikan harga buatan.
- Najasy (penawaran palsu): dilarang karena menipu pihak pembeli.
- Riba: dilarang karena menimbulkan ketidakadilan dalam distribusi kekayaan.
3. Peran Pemerintah (Hisbah)
Pemerintah memiliki tanggung jawab sebagai pengawas pasar (muhtasib) untuk menjaga keadilan harga, mencegah kecurangan, dan memastikan distribusi barang berjalan lancar.
Namun, intervensi harga hanya dibenarkan bila terjadi ketimpangan ekstrem atau penindasan ekonomi.
Konsep Harga yang Adil (Fair Price)
Harga yang adil dalam Islam bukan hanya tentang angka, tetapi juga tentang keberkahan dan keadilan sosial.
Beberapa indikator harga yang adil antara lain:
- Terbentuk tanpa paksaan.
- Tidak mengandung riba atau penipuan.
- Menjamin keuntungan yang wajar bagi penjual dan kepuasan bagi pembeli.
- Menciptakan keseimbangan antara kepentingan individu dan masyarakat.
Islam menolak praktik overpricing (harga terlalu tinggi) dan underpricing (harga terlalu rendah untuk menyingkirkan pesaing), karena keduanya dapat mengganggu kestabilan pasar.

Teori harga pasar dalam perspektif Islam menekankan bahwa harga tidak semata-mata hasil interaksi permintaan dan penawaran, tetapi juga harus mencerminkan keadilan, kejujuran, dan nilai moral.
Pasar dalam Islam adalah tempat ibadah ekonomi, di mana setiap transaksi bukan hanya mencari keuntungan duniawi, tetapi juga keberkahan akhirat.
Dengan demikian, penerapan teori harga Islami dapat menciptakan pasar yang sehat, stabil, dan berkeadilan sosial sejalan dengan prinsip rahmatan lil ‘alamin.
